Do I have to be good at editing?

Of course not, my presets are very user-friendly and can be used by everyone. Even if you are just starting or have been doing this for a while!

How do I use your Presets?

WINDOWS:

Locate the After Effects preset folder:

  • Navigate to:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects <version>\Support Files\Presets

<version> = your version of After Effects (e.g., 2024)

Paste your downloaded Preset:

  • Copy & Paste your downloaded Zip file into the Presets folder and unzip the file.

Access in After Effects:

  • To access in After Effects
  • Go to the Effects & Presets panel (Window -> Effects & Presets).
  • Your custom presets will appear under the "Animation Presets" section.
  • If not click the three lines (≡) in the panel and click "Reset List".

MAC:

Locate the After Effects Preset Folder:

  • Right click on "finder", click "go to folder" and insert this:
  • /Applications/Adobe After Effects <version>/Presets

<version> = your version of After Effects (e.g., 2024)

Paste your downloaded .ZIP folder:

  • Unzip the file, and look for the .ffx files.
  • Drag and drop them into the Preset Folder.

Access in After Effects:

  • Launch After Effects
  • Go to WIndow -> Effects & Presets
  • Look under "Animation Presets"

If you dont see them click on the 3 lines in the panel and click "Refresh List".

How do I use your Topaz Presets?

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  • Open Topaz Video AI on your computer.
  • Click on the "Preset" menu (Located in the top bar or sidebar).
  • Choose "Import Preset"
  • Locate the .json preset file and select it.
  • The preset will now appear inside Topaz and is ready to use.
